Description
La Lumière is a beautiful expression of southern French white wine. Made by Simon Tyrrell and his team at Atelier des Sources, it shines with balance, texture and freshness.
This blend of Bourboulenc and Roussanne opens with aromas of white peach, pear, fennel and acacia. The palate is medium bodied, with a silky mouthfeel lifted by bright acidity that keeps everything lively and elegant. Twelve months of ageing in 600-litre French oak barrels (two-thirds new) adds gentle creaminess and structure without overpowering the fruit.
If you enjoy white Burgundy or richer styles of Chardonnay, this will be right up your street. It’s delicious with roast chicken, creamy pasta or grilled sea bass, and will age beautifully over the next few years.
