Refunds, Returns and Cancellations Policy

30-Day Return Policy

You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unopened, unused, and in its original packaging. You'll need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Under EU and Irish consumer law, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, without needing to give us one. This is separate from, and in addition to, our 30-day return policy above.

What happens after you cancel

  • We'll arrange reimbursement of the purchase price within 15 days of being notified.
  • You're responsible for returning the goods to us, at your own cost, unless the goods are faulty, were delivered in error, or the return is needed because of something we did wrong, in which case we cover the cost.
  • If you've ordered multiple items or bottles in a single order, you can cancel part of the order rather than the whole thing.

Corked Wine

Cork taint is a naturally occurring fault, and we understand it can be disappointing. If you believe a bottle you've received is corked, we're happy to credit your account for the affected bottle. You must contact us within 30 days of the original order date to be eligible.

To report a corked bottle, email info@thenudewineco.ie with your order number and a brief description of the fault.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or if you've received the wrong item, so we can look into it and put it right.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you actually want is to return the item you have, and once that return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.

Refunds

We'll let you know once we've received and inspected your return, and confirm whether the refund is approved. If approved, you'll be refunded automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days. Banks and card providers can take additional time to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you still haven't seen it, contact us at info@thenudewineco.ie.

Order Changes, Faults and Cost of Returns

  1. You can change or cancel your order at any time up to dispatch by contacting us promptly by email or phone.
  2. If a product is faulty, damaged, or not fit for consumption, we'll refund the price of the bottle or, if you prefer, credit your account. We may ask you to return the product so we can assess the fault; if so, we'll arrange and cover the cost of collection.
  3. We'll cover return costs if:
    • the products are faulty or damaged;
    • the products were delivered to you in error; or
    • you have a legal right to a free return because of something we got wrong.
  4. In all other circumstances, you're responsible for return costs, and these are non-refundable.
  5. Sale items, event tickets, and gift cards can't be returned.
