Description
I'm thrilled to introduce you to the Rathfinny Estate Classic Cuvée Sparkling Wine. This gem is crafted in the same way and to the same standard of premium champagne. Made from the typical champagne grapes with a blend of 57% Pinot Noir, 22% Chardonnay, and 21% Pinot Meunier, all hand-harvested from the beautiful Rathfinny Wine Estate in East Sussex. It's the very first vintage of their Classic Sparkling, made using the traditional method.
The Rathfinny estate is simply perfect for growing sparkling wine grapes. With thin, clay loam soils over chalk providing great water sources for the vines, and a semi-continental climate similar to Champagne, France, it’s a fantastic combination.
