La Jara Organic Pinot Grigio 2023

La Jara Organic Pinot Grigio 2023
This is a Pinot Grigio to write home about. Whilst it is still light bodied wine, the flavours are gorgeously intense and the texture is soft and creamy.  It is a cut above most Pinot Grigios and is well worth the extra couple of euro that comes with the price tag. Juicy pears, nectarines and fresh lemons. You can drink this by itself, or enjoy with food. Excellent. The La Jara Estate specialise in award winning Proseccos, and have added this stunning Organic Pinot Grigio into their stable of wines. The estate is owned by the Marion family, who bought the land in 1891 and since 1999 is under the stewardship of Massimo Marion and his brother Paolo.

Antica Enotria Bianco, Puglia, 2022

Antica Enotria Bianco, Puglia, 2022
What a gorgeous vibrant white wine! A blend of Southern Italy's two shining star white grapes, Falanghina and Fiano, this is dry and very ripe and fruity, a must try for Albarino drinkers. Floral notes of peaches and apricots and beautifully balanced by crisp acidity and minerality. Delicious to drink by itself, or enjoy with a nice Thai takeaway. Antica Enotria has been organic since the mid 1990s, not because it was trendy, but because Raffaele di Tuccio along with his wife Antonia believed it was important for the land. They grow a range of red and white indigenous grapes, as well as fruit, vegetables and of course olives!

La Raia, Gavi DOCG 2022

La Raia, Gavi DOCG 2022
La Raia made us fall back in love with Gavi all over again. A lovely ripe and fleshy wine with Golden Delicious apples, zesty citrus fruit, hints of peach and minerality. Bright refreshing, and an interesting alternative to Chablis. Cortese is Piedmont’s indigenous white grape, and produces arguably its best white wine, Gavi. Gavi is a region to the Eastern side of the region and in order to call your wine Gavi, it must be made exclusively from Cortese.

Liberty Nages Blanc, Chateau du Nages 2023
**Golden medal – International Organic Awards 2021** Organically certified, award wining white wine from the south of France, made from a blend of Grenache, Roussanne and Colombard grapes. Produced in the south of France in the Costières de Nîmes region, the grapes have plenty of Sunshine and a Mediterranean sea breeze. With a red clay rich in iron and rolled limestone pebbles from the Rhone, this terroir gives us a fantastic white wine with minerality freshness with lots of body and character. A real crowd pleaser,  a bottle with white fish, creamy potato mash and roast veg certainty pleased us here at the Nude Wine Co.

A racy, vibrant and zesty Sauvignon Blanc that will challenge any Chilean counterpart. Very fruity and very refreshing. Made in Transylvania at the Cramele Recas winery, husband and wife duo have made massive investments in both winery and vineyard and the results are very impressive. Modern, upfront and fruity wines at very affordable prices. The winery is certified sustainable and the wines are also vegan friendly. Pietradolce, Etna Bianco 2022

Pietradolce, Etna Bianco 2022
Yes, yes, yes! A very exciting Sicilian white wine, one of Italys best, Pietradolce’s Etna Bianco produced exclusively from the native Carricante grape, it resembles a fantastic Chablis in lots of ways. Elegant structure, subtle citrus fruit, minerality and focused acidity. Pietradolce is a new estate among Etna producers, founded in 2005 by the Faro’s, a pioneering family who are prolific green business development. They have chosen to cultivate grapes native to Mount Etna which thrive on the unique volcanic soils. We highly recommend Pietradolce’s Etna Bianco as one of our favorite whites!
