Description
The Casa Maria Verdejo is dry, light-bodied, and zesty, featuring flavours of green apple and fennel typical of the grape variety. This refreshing profile pairs well with various foods, making it ideal for grilled fresh mackerel with a green salad or as an aperitif with manzanilla olives.
Bodega Cuatro Rayas, established in 1935, is the largest and most significant producer in the Rueda D.O. This cooperative, now comprising 400 farmers with around 2000 hectares, focuses on quality wine production in an environmentally-friendly manner. The Verdejo offers notes of pineapple, passionfruit, and guava, with a citrus finish. Its good weight makes it a perfect match for seafood paella or simple pasta dishes, offering a great alternative to Sauvignon Blanc.
