Product Information

A classic Fleurie, it entices with vivid bouquets of violets, an olfactory prelude to what awaits on the palate. Here, the wine unveils flavours reminiscent of freshly crushed wild strawberries, framed by a herbal, savoury dimension —a delightful symphony of flavours and textures that's sure to please. Didier Desvignes' family boasts a century-long legacy of winemaking in the heart of Beaujolais. His ardor for the world of wine and viticulture ignited at a tender age, just 11 years old, when he'd accompany his father to the vineyards, tending to a few vines here and there. It was during these formative years that he took the reins of his first vintage, an experience that solidified his destiny to carry forward the family estate. In 1981, he embarked on a significant milestone, acquiring his initial parcel of land in Morgon. Today, alongside his wife Denise, the Desvignes family oversees a remarkable 26 hectares spread across Morgon, Fleurie, Moulin a Vent, Chiroubles, and Brouilly. Their philosophy revolves around nurturing healthy, mature grapes as the fundamental building blocks for crafting exceptional wines, firmly believing that greatness stems from the vineyard's bounty.
