Product Information

Domaine Joblot Premier Cru Blanc 'En Veau' is a luscious but also refined glass of chardonnay with a lovely spicy character backed up with notes of stone fruit with a nutty, creamy finish. This is the finest estate in the Cote Chalonnaise in Burgundy. As Burgundy expert Kermit Lynch says, ‘Joblot remains the region’s leading winemaker, with a selection of terroir-driven Pinots and chardonnays that are simply world class’. Indeed, it is the best the Chalonnaise has to offer. Year after year, Jean-Marc and now daughter Juliette make a range of 5 reds and 3 whites (mostly from Premier Cru vineyards) which are consistently excellent and show why Burgundy at its best is so impressive. Clive Coates puts it unequivocally: 'This is Givry's best estate' putting it down to controlled harvests, old vines and sophisticated use of oak. Jasper Morris MW describes this estate as ‘THE leader in Givry.'
