Description
Acon Joven is a full bodied, rich and unctuous red wine from Ribero del Duero. Unoaked, with flavours of fresh blackberries, blueberries and plums. Made exclusively from Tempranillo, you would be forgiven for expecting it to taste similar to a Rioja, however Ribero is a much hotter place resulting in a much more robust style of wine. If you like Malbec, this one will be right up your street. The climate along the Duero is extreme, with hot dry summers and harsh winters. The hot summer days and cool evenings result in intense and full bodied reds with a firm structure and refreshing acidity.
