Description
Domaine Perraud Bourgogne Aligote is a fresh and elegant white wine that shines with citrus, stone fruit and a gentle honeyed note. Unlike many Aligote wines, this cuvee softens the grape’s usual sharpness, bringing a rounded freshness that feels silky on the palate. Lemon, peach and pear flavours linger beautifully, giving a clean, mineral-driven finish that is both vibrant and refined.
Founded in 2005 by Jean-Christophe Perraud, the domaine brings together four generations of family vineyards across five villages in the Maconnais. The labels are playful, inspired by fairy tales, yet the wines inside are serious expressions of Burgundy terroir. From Chardonnay to Gamay, Pinot Noir to Aligote, the range covers Mâcon Villages, Saint Veran, Bourgogne Rouge and beyond. The Bourgogne Aligote cuvée is a standout, grown on flinty soils and fermented with wild yeasts to highlight purity, texture and character, proving that this historic grape deserves centre stage once more.
