This beautifully supple Chorey-les-Beaune 2022 is full of juicy raspberry, Morello cherry and wild strawberry, with a little earthy spice adding depth. Silky and fresh, it has lovely roundness, fine tannins and a delicate structure that lets the Pinot Noir fruit shine. An elegant red Burgundy drinking beautifully now, it is a gorgeous choice with roast chicken, duck breast or a generous plate of charcuterie.

Based in Pernand-Vergelesses, Domaine Rapet Pere & Fils is a historic Burgundy family estate with roots stretching back to 1765. Its vineyards surround the famous hill of Corton in the northern Cote de Beaune, an area celebrated for both red and white Burgundy. This Chorey-les-Beaune is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown on old vines rooted in stony marl and limestone soils, with iron-rich alluvial deposits from the slopes above. Maturation in French oak barrels adds subtle spice and supports the wine's fine structure while keeping its bright, expressive fruit at the heart of the glass.
