Description
Another gem from the stable of Envinate. Like all their wines these are produced in miniscule quatities, so when they are available, you should jump at the chance! A blend of Mencía, the famed grape of the Bierzo region, and some Alicante Bouschet from 70 year-old vines at 430 metres elevation. Made in the old traditional way with the grapes being foot-stomped and fermented in a small open vat. Tiny quantities made and this has an impressive cult following. Get whilst you can as it always sells out, This is a dream of a glass with really intense fruitiness and moreish savoury undertones. Medium to full bodied.
