The Pet Nat Box

RARE & LIMITED | Albamar Ancestral is lightly sparkling, precise and coastal, with aromas of green apple, lemon peel and a subtle hint of toasted bread. On the palate it is crisp and focused, showing citrus, pear skin and fine bubbles, with gentle brioche and a savoury, saline edge adding depth. Dry, refreshing and quietly complex, it finishes long and mouthwatering.

This product is no filtered and non fined, so there will likely be sediment in the bottom.

Albamar is a benchmark producer in Rias Baixas, based in the coastal Salnes Valley in north west Spain. The estate is family run and works with old Albarino vines planted close to the Atlantic, where granite soils and ocean influence define the style. This ancestral method sparkling wine is made with minimal intervention, allowing texture and natural character to develop in bottle. It is a confident, food friendly expression of Albarino with real finesse and structure.

Martin Texier Petite Nature is lightly sparkling, cloudy and joyfully off beat, with aromas of fresh apple, pear skin and a gentle cider like tang. On the palate it is dry, crisp and energetic, with soft bubbles, crunchy orchard fruit and a faintly wild edge that keeps things exciting. Funky but balanced, this is refreshment with personality and a very clean finish.

Martin Texier is part of one of the Rhone Valley’s most respected natural wine families, working with a clear focus on purity and drinkability. Petite Nature is made in the northern Rhone using organically farmed fruit and spontaneous fermentation. Bottled before fermentation finishes, it gains its gentle sparkle naturally, with no filtration to preserve texture and character. The result is a playful, honest wine that reflects both grape and place without polish or pretence.

What I love most about this stunning pét-nat is the rich, creamy mousse, it’s miles ahead of every other pét-nat and Prosecco at this price point. Expect zesty citrus, crisp green apples, and ripe pears, all lifted by a fine, elegant fizz that brings incredible texture and balance. There’s a touch of natural sweetness, but it’s beautifully countered by zippy acidity, making it dangerously easy to drink.

Domaine Albert de Conti is a family-run organic estate in Saint-Julien d’Eymet, Bergerac, where Guillaume and Paulin de Conti have breathed new life into their grandfather’s vineyards. Farming 30 hectares organically, they work with biodynamic and agroforestry principles to enhance soil health and vine balance. This pét-nat, made from 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon, is crafted with a low-intervention approach, completing fermentation in bottle to create a naturally sparkling wine that’s bursting with energy and freshness.

Uivo Pet Nat Branco is bright, lightly sparkling and full of energy, with aromas of fresh grape, pear skin and citrus peel. The palate is crisp and gently cloudy, showing soft bubbles, juicy orchard fruit and a clean, dry finish. Fresh, vibrant and seriously moreish, this is a pet nat that delivers purity rather than funk.

Uivo is made by Folias de Baco in the Douro, a project focused on honest wines that reflect vineyard character and place. The vines sit at altitude on schist soils, bringing natural freshness and tension to the wine. Fermentation is spontaneous with no additions, and the wine is bottled before fermentation finishes to create its natural sparkle. Uivo Pet Nat Branco is all about minimal intervention, native grapes and a modern expression of Douro white wine.
