Description
Orange wines are a really special type of wine making that has seen a huge surge in popularity, and rightly so! An ancient way of making white wines, whereby the skins of the white grapes spend time with the grape juice to impart a distinctly orange hue with a unique flavour profile. In this case, the skins and the juice spend two days together and the result is gorgeous. A rich texture, bone dry and with a huge amount of juicy acidity, its one of the best examples we have tasted of orange wines in a really long time. The white grapes here are indigenous to Southern Italy, Falanghina and Fiano, and the flavours are of dried orange peel, camomile tea and pineapples, with delicate herbal notes. Low Sulphur, organically farmed and non-filtered.
