La Bicicleta Voladora Rioja (White)

Produced from a new vine discovered in Northern Spain, white Tempranillo a few years ago. It was since cultivated and now planted commercially in tiny quantities, we are lucky to have this unique example. A white Rioja done in an unoaked style, creating a gorgeous soft and creamy mouthfeel with juicy orchard fruit like apples and pears. If you enjoy a Macon wine, this is for you. Can be enjoyed with or without food. As soon as we tried it, we new it was an instant 5 Star wine. The Flying Bicycle is made by Germán Blanco, one of the coolest guys around who has made a serious name for himself despite being so young. He focuses on minimal intervention and letting the grapes speak for themselves, and this one is organic. A serious must try for those who love Spanish wines.
