Description
A robust Rioja, with rich red fruit and a big structure. Not for the faint-hearted, its a big glass of wine, but a very elegant one at that. Remelluri is the family estate of Telmo Rodriguez, a man who is considered one of the best wine makers in Spain. Having worked in Bordeaux, Rhone and Provence, he returned to Spain to his beloved Remelluri. Lindes de Remelluri means “the borders of Remelluri.” This wine is made from grapes grown by local farmers in the town of San Sonsierra, which are close to the main Remelluri estate. Telmo wanted to honour the old family contracts which had been in place for so long and created a separate label for them.
