“One particular white highlight was Colin’s Puligny-Montrachet ‘Trezins’ 2020– the nose of ripe orchard fruit and brioche immediately recalled the 1996 that made me fall in love with white Burgundy 25 years ago”.. . . Jancis Robinson (Master of Wine). Colin’s ‘Trezins’ plot sits elevated above the finer mid slopes and below the fringe of the plateau. This plot is ideally situated to capture late evening sun and since 2017 (hotter years) has produced lovely wine. Typically, the bouquet reflects hawthorn blossoms, ripe grapes, marzipan, hazelnut, lemon-grass & green apple. Notwithstanding its full, ample mouthfeel, this is a very refined wine, exhibiting both elegance and style.
