Product Information

This wine is pure Alentejo elegance in a glass.  Intense aromas of ripe red fruits and a hint of toast from its 6 months in French oak barrels. It’s wonderfully balanced—soft, fruity, and harmonious, with just the right amount of freshness. There’s a lovely, elegant quality to it that makes it easy to enjoy, yet it has enough depth to keep you intrigued from the first sip to the last.

Hailing from the serene Monte da Cal estate in northern Alentejo, this wine reflects the heart and soul of the region. Winemaker Osvaldo Amado crafts this blend of Aragonez, Trincadeira, Petit Verdot, and Alicante Bouschet with a focus on showcasing the contemporary style of Alentejo—fresh, characterful, and undeniably refined. The estate, with its rolling vineyards and peaceful surroundings, is all about producing top-quality wines that truly reflect the unique terroir of this tranquil part of Portugal.

The wines are reasonably priced and you know you are getting something a bit different from those on the supermarket shelves.
