Description
An unusual blend for a Spanish red; Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Monastrell, it’s a full-on glass of wine. Muscular, with a big weighty mouthfeel and ripe sweet ripe fruit, with spice and herbaceous undertones. Although it’s a biggy, the refreshing acidity tones it down a bit. Crying out for meat, Rafael Cambra’s Dos is a force to be reckoned with. With a philosophy of minimal intervention and Rafael Cambra focuses on old Monastrell vines along with some French varieties.
