Made from the Viognier grape, this wine boasts a delicious blend of fleshy, yellow, and stone-fruit flavors with a nice balance of acidity that keeps it fresh and enjoyable. It's a perfect match with scallops, prawns and lobster, if you are that way inclined! It's a real gem, but there's not a whole lot of it, so grab it while you can! This Rhone champion winemaker has a reputation for crafting exclusive wines in the region. Cuilleron has a keen understanding of every vineyard plot, ensuring they produce top-notch quality, style, and character. This wine comes from the finest selection of vines on the hills near the renowned sites in the Rhone, grown only on shallow, granitic soils in the Chavanay sub-zone. The vineyard team takes a hands-off approach, using organic fertilizers only when needed and avoiding insecticides altogether. The result is a wonderfully complex, rich, and pure varietal expression that's aged for seven months in large oak vats on its fine lees. It's treated with the same care as Condrieu, and the expressive nature shines through.
