Made by Vigneti del Salento, part of the renowned Fantini Group, this wine is the result of decades of expertise and a deep connection to the land. Winemaker Filippo Baccalaro, a native of Piedmont, has spent over 20 years in Puglia, drawn by the region’s intensely flavoured fruit and minimal-intervention winemaking potential. The grapes come from old bush vines in Manduria and Sava, rooted in calcareous clay soils rich in iron and minerals. These unique conditions create a Primitivo that is rich, complex, and true to its terroir—a stunning example of Southern Italy’s most iconic red.
