About Albamar Ancestral, Sparkling Albarino
RARE & LIMITED | Albamar Ancestral is lightly sparkling, precise and coastal, with aromas of green apple, lemon peel and a subtle hint of toasted bread. On the palate it is crisp and focused, showing citrus, pear skin and fine bubbles, with gentle brioche and a savoury, saline edge adding depth. Dry, refreshing and quietly complex, it finishes long and mouthwatering.
This product is no filtered and non fined, so there will likely be sediment in the bottom.
Albamar is a benchmark producer in Rias Baixas, based in the coastal Salnes Valley in north west Spain. The estate is family run and works with old Albarino vines planted close to the Atlantic, where granite soils and ocean influence define the style. This ancestral method sparkling wine is made with minimal intervention, allowing texture and natural character to develop in bottle. It is a confident, food friendly expression of Albarino with real finesse and structure.
