Astobiza is based on the Atlantic coast of Spain's Basque Country, the same region behind the Txakoli you may already know and love, and this is the world's first vermouth made using white wine from their own hand harvested Hondarrabi Zuri grapes, the very grape that gives Txakoli its trademark freshness. To that base, they add grain alcohol infused with juniper from their own London Dry Gin, softened with grape must, then macerate a careful selection of botanicals including wormwood and local citrus.
