Founded in 1989 by winemaker Martin Shaw and Master of Wine Michael Hill Smith, Shaw + Smith brings the unique character of the Adelaide Hills to life. Thanks to its altitude, this region enjoys a cooler climate than the nearby Barossa and Eden Valleys.
Shaw + Smith M3 Chardonnay is a stellar white wine from the Adelaide Hills in South Australia. Made from hand-picked Chardonnay grapes, it beautifully reflects the area's cool climate.
A pale golden color, elegant and complex, with flavors of stone fruit, citrus, and minerality, balanced by a creamy texture and crisp acidity. It finishes long and refreshing a truly beautiful glass of wine for the chardonnay lover.

Andre Bonhomme Vire-Clesse ‘Cuvee Special' 2022
If you are into Chardonnay, then you will love this. What we mean by that, is if you like the creamy, rich and buttery style with loads of citrus notes then this is the wine for you.
André Bonhomme’s first harvest took place in 1956. He was the first grower in the Mâconnais to bottle and sell his own wine, rather than sell to a cooperative, and was at the origin of the creation of the new Viré-Clessé appellation in 1998. Vire Clesse is one of the best value Burgundy Appellations you will find!
Today, son-in-law Eric Palthey and André’s daughter Jacqueline are in charge of the 11-ha estate, where their son, Aurélien (Oenologist) is taking centre stage.

Domaine Charleux, Maranges Premier Cru ‘Fussieres’, 2021 (White)
Fussieres has distinct terroir definition. Zingy, tangy, lots of ‘edge’, tension and energy. Saline.
Just smell the aromas of green orchard fruit, honeycomb, citrus oil and oatmeal when poured.
Fussieres is the largest ‘climat’ (parcel) of Maranges, covering some 35 hectares in total. Charleux farms 1.82 ha. It has a south-facing exposure and lies in the middle of the slope at an altitude of 290 to 400 meters.
The soil is often white limestone over blue-coloured marl, replete with fossils. This wine comes from 35 to 50 year-old vines, which helps amplify the wines concentration and finesse. The aromas simply leap from your glass. Wonderful orange peel, zest, spice and spice

Bertrand Ambroise 'Lettre d'Eloise' Chardonnay, Burgundy 2021
If you are into Chardonnay, then you will love this. What we mean by that, is if you like the creamy, rich and buttery style with loads of citrus notes then this is the wine for you. A very high quality Chardonnay that is fermented in 1, 2 and 3-year-old 400 litre oak barrels, where it stays for 10 months. The wine is not fined and only lightly filtered.

Gerard Tremblay PETIT Chablis, France 2023
This unoaked Petit Chablis from Gérard Tremblay is a crisp, refreshing gem, crafted from vines between 10 and 30 years old. Pale straw yellow in color, it opens with vibrant notes of fresh mint and citrus, with just a touch of liquorice on the nose. On the palate, it’s wonderfully supple, offering layers of grapefruit peel and a clean, mineral edge that leads to a crisp, lingering finish. Petit Chablis is a lighter, more delicate expression than a traditional Chablis, perfect for those who love a fresh, mineral-driven Chardonnay. Ideal as an aperitif, this is Chablis at its purest and most vibrant.
Gerard and Helene Tremblay are the 5th generation to make wine at the estate and have over 30 hectares including Premier Cru and Grand Cru. They have put huge investment into the property including a winery working entirely by gravity.

A beautiful medium bodied Chardonnay, one of the nicest we have tried in this price category in a long time. The texture is creamy and mouthcoating with lingering and intense flavours of lemon, Granny Smith apple and grapefruit. It's a wine you will return to again and again. .
A rising star in a very traditional region, Alexis started making his own wines aged just 21 years old and immediately caught the attention of Decanter and other leading wine publications. Alexis works biodynamically and his wines are made in a vibrant, non-oaky style with that classic grapey Maconnais purity. A fifth generation of the winemaking family, he is making his own wines from small parcels of land he received from his father.
