Description
Bright and pale gold in colour, this Menetou-Salon is crisp, aromatic and layered with citrus zest, green apple and subtle white flowers. The palate is refreshing yet textured, with vibrant acidity, grapefruit and lime notes balanced by a fine mineral streak. Elegant and precise, it delivers the crystalline purity that makes Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc so sought after.
Domaine des Brosses was established in 1875 and is now run by brothers Nicolas and Anthony Girard, who bring global winemaking experience back to their 11-hectare estate. Situated just south of Sancerre, the vineyards lie on classic chalk and clay soils, producing wines with freshness, minerality and depth. Grapes are harvested at night to preserve aromatic intensity, then vinified in stainless steel and aged on fine lees for extra complexity. With its modern, clean style and authentic Loire Valley character, Domaine des Brosses continues to showcase why Menetou-Salon is such an exciting alternative to Sancerre.
