Description
100% Viognier, the Grain d'Emotion cuvée comes from a single plot in the commune of Limony in Ardèche, one of the southernmost of the appellation. It's a luxurious white with a sumptuous mouthfeel rich tropical and orchard fruits like apricot and pineapples. Dry, with undertones of nutty oak and taut acidty. The work in the vineyard as in the cellar carried out by Guy Farge and his son Thomas, is carried out under the key word of tradition. Sustainable farming methods that limit treatments to the vine have led to the reintroduction of the horse to work the soil for the purpose of aeration and weeding without herbicides and pesticides.
