Description
Domaine Rolet Arbois Trousseau is a vibrant organic red wine from the Jura, made from 100% Trousseau grapes grown on clay and marl soils. This is a wine that will appeal to Pinot Noir lovers. Bursting with flavours of raspberry, redcurrant and a touch of pink pepper, this elegant red is both fresh and structured. Soft tannins and a long, mocha-tinged finish make it an ideal match for game dishes, red meats and even duck.
Produced by one of Jura’s most respected estates, Domaine Rolet has been producing expressive, terroir-driven wines since 1942. The vineyards, located in Arbois and Montigny-les-Arsures, are now farmed without pesticides or herbicides and are in full conversion to organic certification. The wine is fermented using indigenous yeasts and aged for 9 months in both barrel and vat, allowing the purity of the Trousseau grape to shine. A top choice for fans of cool-climate reds, Jura wines, or organic French wine.
