Description
Dark-fruited, elegant and pure, Domaine Santa Duc wines capture the very best of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre from Gigondas. Expect vibrant blackberry and black cherry layered with spice, garrigue herbs and a touch of minerality, all wrapped in a silky texture. Fresh yet structured, these are wines that drink beautifully young but also have the depth and finesse to age gracefully.
Domaine Santa Duc has been a benchmark in Gigondas since the 1980s, when Yves Gras brought the estate to international acclaim. Today, his son Benjamin Gras leads the sixth generation, combining global winemaking experience with deep respect for tradition. The 30-hectare domaine is fully certified biodynamic, with prime vineyard sites including Les Hautes Garrigues and Clos Derriere Vieille. Winemaking is minimal intervention, with fermentation in stainless steel and ageing in large foudres and amphorae, producing wines that are consistently ranked among the very best in the Southern Rhône.
