Description
This Sangiovese is pressed and foot-crushed, incorporating 15% whole bunches. It’s then aged for 15 months in concrete, resulting in a wine that is delightfully fruit-forward and wonderfully rounded. On the palate, you'll find layers of cherry, plum, and a hint of spice, underscored by velvety tannins and a harmonious finish. It is a gorgeous Sangiovese and a delicious alternative to a classic Chianti.
While Tuscany is celebrated for its Sangiovese, Fabbrica has been redefining the region’s potential since its inception in 2013. Nestled in the Val d’Orcia in eastern Tuscany, the area's unique soils and climate draw striking parallels to the Rhone Valley. The hilly terrain of Pienza evokes the southern Rhone, while its soils are reminiscent of the northern Rhone.
