Crafted from the Baga grape, known for its thick skins and high tannins, this wine is a testament to the winemaker's skill and artistry. Hand-harvested and fermented with natural yeasts in concrete tanks, the wine is aged in used oak barrels for 12 months, resulting in a wine that is rich, complex, and full of life. On the nose, the Filipa Pato Dinamica 'DNMC' RED offers an enticing bouquet of ripe red fruit, black pepper, and a subtle earthiness that captures the essence of the Bairrada region of Portugal. On the palate, the wine is vibrant and full of energy, with flavours of red cherry, raspberry, and cranberry that are perfectly balanced by firm tannins and a lively acidity. Filipa Pato is one of the stars of our online wine shop. She makes vibrant wines from native Portuguese grapes that wold stop you in your tracks.
