Description
Gold medal winner at the National Off Licence Awards 2024, Framingham's 2022
This isn't any ordinary Sauvignon Blanc. It is produced as a Sauvignon for wine lovers with a focus on the quality of the texture, mouthfeel and ability to pair well with food. It has New Zealand's trademark vibrant citrus fruit profile, layered with a masterclass in depth and elegance.
Smoky aromatics draw you in, with intriguing layers of flint, zesty lemon, and grapefruit, complemented by tropical notes. The palate is beautifully textured, offering a rich mouthfeel that’s well-balanced by fine acidity. Subtle hints of passionfruit and sweet herbs add depth, while a lingering minerality gives the wine a clean, refreshing finish.
Framingham, nestled in the heart of Marlborough, is renowned for their innovation. The winery places equal emphasis on texture and aromatics, setting them apart in the region. Marlborough’s cool climate and diverse terroirs allow for the production of expressive, high-quality Sauvignon Blancs, and this bottle is a testament to both the region's and the winery’s excellence.
