Description
Medium bodied, elegant and traditional in style, with aromas of ginger spice, raspberries, dried strawberries, cherries and hints of smoke. oregano. A serious wine punching far above its weight and will benefit from decanting. Lopez de Heredia make Vino Cubillo, and are one of the 3 oldest wineries in Rioja, and the oldest one in Haro. They are famed for rejecting modern technology and continuing to make their wines with the most traditional of methods. Drinking Vina Cubillo is like tasting history.
