About The Iconic Bedoba Pair

Our absolute NUMBER ONE bestseller meets its sophisticated big sibling in this knockout Georgian duo. If you haven't tried Bedoba Saperavi yet, where have you been?! This pairing lets you experience both the wine that has our customers coming back again and again, alongside the premium Reserva that takes everything to the next level.

Bedoba Saperavi is so so so good! Seriously, this wine is ridiculously drinkable. If you've never tried a Georgian red wine, producer Bedoba has set the bar very high. This rich and full-bodied red bursts with dark fruits, herbs, mocha, caramel and chocolatey tones. A wine that's perfect on a cold evening in front of the fire.

Made from the indigenous Georgian grape 'Saperavi' in Georgia's most renowned wine region Kakheti, this is THE wine for the curious wine drinker. Partially fermented in ancient traditional clay pots called Qvevri and stainless steel tanks, winemakers Nugzar Ksovreli and Thierry Fontannaz combine tradition with innovation to create super interesting, absolutely delicious wines. There's a reason this is our top seller!

Bedoba Reserva takes everything you love about our bestseller and cranks it up. The fruit is darker and more concentrated with rich black cherry, plum and warm spice wrapped in fine tannins. Longer ageing gives it more structure and a longer, more luxurious finish, making it feel richer and more complex while staying beautifully drinkable. Made from older vines and the finest parcels of fruit, still following the ancient Georgian philosophy that has shaped the style. This is the natural trade-up for anyone who's fallen for the classic Bedoba and wants a bottle that feels more serious, more polished and perfect for a special meal or gift.

Ideal for: Anyone who wants to taste what all the fuss is about, fans of the original looking to go deeper, and gifting something truly special and distinctive. Really delicious with a cheeseboard after your Christmas dinner.

Tasted this wine for the first time with friends with a slow cooked short rib meal. It was so nice that our friends have ordered this for themselves. Beautiful wine

The grand lady of the the non reserve. Absolutely delicious. I have had both back to back and while this would and is the more superior of the two I actually prefer the other non reserve but it is subjective and personal. Either way stunning wine and well worth the buy and savouring.

Where to start. This is a really lovely wine. Very different tasting than I am familiar with but holds up to the bold yet soft and rich yet delicate warm fruits and sunshine I imagine from the part of the world. A surprise waiting to happen. If you don’t know about it I suggest give it a try.

Delicious wine, rich without blowing your head off, smooth and fruity at the same time

An amazing satisfying red. Decant to get the best, one bottle had to be decanted into a ceramic teapot at a friend's house but it worked! You will sip this one to try and make the pleasure of drinking it last.

Super! I was delighted by the flavour and body of this wine. Definitely will try some others from this vineyard and from Georgia.

I was disappointed with this red. Maybe I’d built it up too much but it didn't do anything for me.
I had really enjoyed the other reds in The Velvet Reds Box Spring edition and had kept this until last. I drank two glasses last night so hoping it may be better once I get to the remaining glasses.

Love this wine.

I have ordered this wine before from Nude Wines and returned for more . It’s just gorgeous but different. Its flavour has an edge ( obviously from the earthen Qvevris) on first tasting that’s not harsh but actually ties all the flavours together differently when enjoying it alone or with foods and cheeses. I will be back for more

Absolute class - my first Georgian wine and I wasn’t disappointed. Great depth and packed full of flavour

Who would have thought that a wine from far away Georgia (the eastern Georgia) could be this good. One of my favourite reds...

P
Pobriencork (Cork, Munster, Ireland)

This was my first Saperavi red and it won’t be my last
Gorgeous to taste … dark fruits but with a mineral edge to make it different especially in the aftertaste

A really nice full bodied red. Each glass leaves you wanting more. Went down really well with guests and is now a firm favourite for us.

Bedoba, what a lovely, bold, lucious wine. It has notes of blackberry and a peppery aftertaste and is absolutely delicious paired with meat or game or indeed on its own without food. I bought six but it was so good I was driven to share and the recipients of the two bottles I gifted absolutely loved it. Swift delivery and this company is easy to deal with.
