Wild Garden Cape Coast Chenin Blanc

Fresh, light, crisp and zingy, Wild Garden Chenin Blanc is a really fun glass of South African white wine that we are excited to have on our website. Tangy green apple meets ripe pineapple and mango, with rounded fruit flavours balanced by bright acidity and a refreshing, fruity finish. Easy to enjoy and full of personality, this is a lovely choice for an aperitif, seafood or a relaxed chicken dinner.

Wild Garden is a small range celebrating South Africa's classic grape varieties, with this white made from 100% Chenin Blanc. The grapes come from selected vineyards in Swartland and Pederberg, where altitude and cooling Atlantic breezes help retain freshness in the warm, dry climate. A combination of shale, schist, granite and ironstone soils adds complexity, while fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel preserves the bright fruit flavours. Malolactic conversion is avoided to keep the wine crisp and lively.
