Syrah is known in other parts around the world as Shiraz and is a favourite for wine lovers, with spicy notes and flavours of dark brambly fruit and vanilla. Situated in-between Mount Blanc in the east and the French Alps in the west is the beautiful Rhone Valley one of the worlds renowned wine regions of Hermitage and Crozes Hermitage. This area is famous for having the best Syrah in the world and all other Syrah (Shiraz) producers all over the world aspire to replicate. This Crozes Hermitage is produced by Yves Cuilleron who is credited with raising the bar in quality in Northern Rhone and we can confirm is a fantastic expression of the area and what a great Syrah is all about. This is must for wine enthusiasts who want to explore the great wine regions of the world.
