Pietradolce, Etna Bianco 2022
Yes, yes, yes! A very exciting Sicilian white wine, one of Italys best, Pietradolce’s Etna Bianco produced exclusively from the native Carricante grape, it resembles a fantastic Chablis in lots of ways. Elegant structure, subtle citrus fruit, minerality and focused acidity. Pietradolce is a new estate among Etna producers, founded in 2005 by the Faro’s, a pioneering family who are prolific green business development. They have chosen to cultivate grapes native to Mount Etna which thrive on the unique volcanic soils. We highly recommend Pietradolce’s Etna Bianco as one of our favorite whites!

Zabu Vigneti Organic Grillo, Sicily (white)
Zabu Vigneti Organic Grillo, Sicily (white)
Grillo is a grape indigenous to Southern Italy and it thrives on the island of Sicily. A lovely textural wine that is minerally and dry with flavours of grapefruit, peaches, almond and orange blossom. This is a wine that Albarino drinkers will love. Enjoy with mussels or prawns. The Vigneti Zabù vineyards were first planted in 2005 on the hills that surround Lake Arancio in Sicilia. This vineyard site is uniquely special for a couple of reasons. The first is the high altitude, 400-600 metres above sea level, which creates a cooling effective, and the second is the crystal-clear waters of the nearby lake, which creates an ideal microclimate for viticulture and protects the vines from the relentless heat of a Sicilian summer. The result is a virbrant and intense which with a gorgeous structure. This is gorgeous.

PietraDolce, Etna Rosso 2022
If you wanted to taste summer in a glass, this is a good place to start. The little known grape of Nerello Mascalese is a delight in the growing trend for light body, light alcohol red wines. Fresh strawberries, raspberries, cherries and the sweet and refreshing juiciness of blood orange with a silky mouthfeel describe this wine. 100% Nerello Mascalese, a variety indigenous to Sicily. Uniquely, these vines are in the rare category of ‘pre phylloxera’, and are on their original root stocks. Averaging around 100 years, and grown on the volcanic soils, you can taste the history, soil and sunshine here.

Donnafugata 'Sherazade' Nero d'Avola 2022
Donnafugata 'Sherazade' Nero d'Avola 2022
A really gorgeous and elegant Nero d'Avola, WOW! A huge step up from most of the Nero d'Avola you will have ever tried. Dry with brambly purple fruit and floral, violet tones. A special wine to treat yourself with. There spicy nuances will help the wine pair beautifully with roast lamb served with caponata. The Rallo family started out as Marsala producers in 1851, but when sales started to decline they were one of the first families to start producing top quality table wines, launching Donnafugata in 1983, championing the regions native grape varieties.

Voria Rosato Pet Nat, Porta del Vento
Voria Rosato Pet Nat, Porta del Vento
We really love Pet Nat wines, they are so much fun and they represent everything we love here at Nude Wines. They are non filtered, vegan friendly and as natural as you can get. This soft, dry and fruity Rosato is produced from the little known Perricone grape and is practically lemonade for adults. Juicy raspberries, strawberries and grapefruit go down easy, and at 11% alcohol, you can see why. Tastes like another glass, please! Marco Sferlazzo is the man behind Porta del Vento, and is making some of the most exciting wines in Sicily. The tiny, Porta del Vento winery sits on a beautiful natural site, above Palermo, near the village of Camporeale.

Arianna Occhipinti, SP68 Rosso, Sicily
Arianna Occhipinti SP 68 Rosso (Nero d'Avola and Frappato) offers hints of flowers, leather, smoke, spice, herbs, liquorice, earth, and mandarin rind.
