Cinsault
Cinsault is one of the Mediterranean's most charming and food-friendly red grapes. Light in body, low in tannins and bursting with fresh red fruit, it is a variety that thrives in the heat of southern France, Lebanon and South Africa, where it is a parent grape of the unique Pinotage. Cinsault produces wines that are refreshing, aromatic and effortlessly drinkable, brilliant served with a light chill on a warm evening. It is also a key component in some of the finest rosés of Provence, adding delicacy, floral lift and a soft, silky texture to the blend.
