Negroamaro
Negroamaro is one of Puglia's most distinctive and characterful indigenous red grapes. Its name translates as black and bitter, a nod to its deep colour and the pleasantly dry, slightly bitter finish that is the hallmark of the variety. Rich with dark cherry, plum and dried herbs, with earthy depth and a warm, spiced character that reflects the intense southern Italian sun, Negroamaro produces wines of real personality and outstanding value. It is also a key component in some of Puglia's finest rosés, adding structure, colour and depth to the blend.
