Description
Red Burgundy is probably one of the hardest wines to find in the good value price point, but this is exactly what this wine represents. If you like French Pinot Noir and struggle to find an excellent affordable one, this is it! It is a particularly full bodied one, rich, dark brambly red fruit layered with warm spices and earthy notes. This is produced just across the road from Nuits St Georges and you taste those classic heady aromas in this excellent bottle. The producer is family owned and grows the grapes organically with minimum intervention to produce what is a great expression of the area. Fantastic with any creamy sauce, or equally shared together in the garden with some cheeses and meats.
