Tinta Roriz

Tinta Roriz is one of Portugal's most important and widely planted red grapes, known across the border in Spain as Tempranillo. In the Douro Valley, it is a key component in both Port and dry red blends, contributing structure, red fruit character and earthy complexity. In the Dão region it produces wines of real elegance and refinement. Versatile, food-friendly and consistently rewarding, Tinta Roriz is a grape that deserves far more attention than it typically receives.
