Description
Araldica Barbera, Piedmont, is bright, juicy and full of personality, with ripe cherry, blackberry and a gentle twist of spice leading the charge. Brilliant value for money red! Naturally high acidity keeps everything fresh and energetic, making it a red that feels lively rather than heavy. Soft tannins and a clean finish mean it works just as well midweek as it does alongside food.
Araldica is a respected cooperative in the heart of Piedmont, bringing together local growers who know Barbera inside out. The region is famous for producing some of Italy’s most food friendly reds, thanks to its cool climate and varied soils. Barbera thrives here, delivering flavour, freshness and balance in equal measure. This wine is all about honest winemaking, regional character and great value, making it a go to Piedmont red for everyday drinking.
