Description
This is a bone dry orange wine. In one word: Perfect. Luscious, aromatic flavours of dried apricots, honey, and orange peel, accented by light herbal hints. It is a complex wine, that tastes exactly like the colour it is. A soft and velvety mouthfeel, really juicy and very dry, it is the perfect wine to enjoy with smoked salmon, or sushi. This is a modern day classic that offers amazing value for money.
"Bedoba," meaning "Day of Luck," draws from the rich history and legacy of the Konchoshvili family, whose cellars date back to 1737. Winemakers Nugzar Ksovreli and Thierry Fontannaz were inspired by the family's profound ties to the church, symbolized by the name "koncho," meaning cross. The label honors Bishop Petre Konchoshvili, a notable 19th-century religious and political figure, celebrating the enduring relationship between the family and the church.
