This is the original Nat'Cool wine, born in Bairrada where it showcases the elegant side of the native Baga grape. The project was started by Dirk Niepoort, fifth generation of the family behind the famous Port house founded in 1842, after his father Rolf once told him that the more wine we drink, the better it tastes. That simple idea pushed Dirk away from heavy, serious wines and toward lightness, precision and pure drinking pleasure. What began in Vinho Verde has since grown into a movement spanning Bairrada, the Douro and beyond, uniting producers around the shared goal of crafting honest, uncomplicated wine, and this bottle is a lovely expression of exactly that.
