Description
Medium bodied, unoaked and juicy, the Saveroni is a blend of Merlot and Corvina. This is an excellent red that is a perfect dinner party pleaser. In 3 words, I would describe it as juicy, generous and soft.
Cantina di Monteforte d’Alpone has been rooted in the Val d’Alpone since 1952, where volcanic soils and a favourable climate shape wines of real character. This historic cooperative unites more than 600 growers across 1,200 hectares, each committed to sustainable viticulture. Grapes for the Severoni cuvée are grown at 100 metres above sea level on poor soils that naturally restrict yields and concentrate flavour. Gentle fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperatures preserves freshness and the purity of fruit that defines this wine.
