Description
Discover the complete Bedoba collection: 3iconic Georgian wines that showcase why this producer has become one of our most celebrated success stories. The Bedoba Saperavi is one of our most popular wines ever, beloved for its rich dark fruit, mocha and herbal complexity. The award-winning Orange wine offers luscious dried apricot, honey and orange peel with a soft, velvety texture, and the White rounds out the collection with its distinctive qvevri character, gentle creaminess and notes of baked apple and toasted almonds.
Bedoba, meaning "Day of Luck," honours the deep history of the Konchoshvili family, whose cellars date back to 1737 in Georgia's renowned Kakheti region. Winemakers Nugzar Ksovreli and Thierry Fontannaz blend centuries-old Georgian traditions with contemporary winemaking to create wines of exceptional quality and character. They work with indigenous grapes like Saperavi, Rkatsiteli and Kisi from vineyards planted on the region's distinctive black slate and limestone soils, using both ancient qvevri (clay vessels buried underground) and modern stainless steel to craft wines that are textural, complex and beautifully balanced. The label itself celebrates the Konchoshvili family's historical ties to the Georgian church, featuring Saint Nina to honour the region's rich cultural heritage.
