Touraine is a Sancerre-like gem, and a brilliant value Sauvignon Blanc. This sauvignon blanc hails from the small estate of Cédric and Dorothée Allion, produced in accordance with the Terra Vitis principles established in the Beaujolais region three decades ago. This method emphasizes rational viticulture over tradition. The Allions keep vineyard interventions to a minimum, avoiding chemical additives. The quality of their wine is evident: it's a notably refined sauvignon blanc, characterized by its crisp and almost steely sharpness, and rich with flavors of gooseberry, peanut, and nettle. It stands out as a clear, remarkably well-priced alternative to New World sauvignon blancs.

Madregale Bianco is an organic white wine made in Abruzzo in Southern Italy. This fresh and bright white captures the sunshine and the quality available in the south-eastern Italian coast. Made from a blend of Trebbiano with a small dash of Chardonnay, it is unoaked, naturally fermented and bottled to retain fruit characteristics and fresh acidity. Cantina Tollo is one of the largest co-operatives in the region of Abruzzo, with over 800 growers who, between them, have over 3200 hectares of vineyards.
