About The Wine Geek Box
This box is not for the faint-hearted. The Wine Geek Box is a passport for the genuinely curious, built for those who have moved beyond the familiar and are ready to explore the edges of the wine world. Six bottles, six countries, zero compromises.
We start in the ancient winemaking heartland of Georgia, with two bottles from Bedoba. The Saperavi is a rich, full-bodied red bursting with dark fruit, herbs, mocha, and chocolate, partially fermented in traditional clay Qvevri pots for a wine that is as historically fascinating as it is delicious. Alongside it, the Bedoba Orange is a bone dry, soft and velvety skin-contact wine with aromas of apricot, honey, and orange peel that tastes exactly as spectacular as it looks in the glass. From Croatia, the Dika Frankovka is a hidden gem from the Slavonian slopes of Krndija mountain, a medium to full-bodied red with berries, cherries, and a beautifully balanced tannic structure that rewards the adventurous palate.
Crossing to Australia, the Dandelion Riesling from Eden Valley is pure and precise, with honeysuckle, dragon fruit, lime, and a taut acidity from a single historic vineyard planted in 1910. From Lebanon, the Chateau Musar Jeune brings juicy red fruit, wild berry, and a savoury twist from one of the most iconic and storied wine estates on the planet. Finally, from the Douro in Portugal, the Uivo Pet Nat Branco closes things out with a lightly sparkling, naturally fermented white full of pear skin, fresh grape, and citrus energy, minimal intervention winemaking at its most joyful.
